Cooking Instruction
1. Marinate the chicken: Mix chicken pieces with spices in a bowl. Add buttermilk (and hot sauce if you want it spicy). Cover and put it in the fridge for a few hours (or overnight for best results).
2. Mix your dry stuff: In a bag, combine flour, cornstarch, and seasonings.
3. Heat up the oil: Get a pot of oil hot (around 350°F).
4. Coating time: Take the chicken out of the buttermilk, let extra drip off, then dunk it in the flour mixture.
5. Fry time: Carefully put the floured chicken in the hot oil. Fry each side until golden brown and cooked through (about 10 minutes per side).
6. Let it rest: Take the chicken out and put it on a wire rack to drain some oil.
7. Enjoy! Eat your crispy chicken hot with your favorite sides.
